Hello to all the friends of MSU Amateur Radio Club! Next week ( Feb 9 – 13) is the School Club Roundup. SCR is a week long friendly competition over the air for students to talk to other students via HAM RADIO. Many High School clubs as well as college and university stations will be active.
The contest starts Monday morning, and runs thru Friday evening. We are planning a W8SH “shack open house” on Tuesday evening Feb. 10th starting at about 7pm. This is a good time to meet some of the new students and also to mingle with the faculty, staff, and alumni. To you more experienced Hams, this is a perfect opportunity to pass along some of your expertise in the radio art to the next generation of contesters.
Pizza and pop will be provided for the group. Hope to see you all there.
