We have many acquaintances, but very few true friends.

A friend is there for a long time and through a lot of bad times, and can explain the true meaning of a good time. They keep your head on straight. They get you off the rocks and back into the water.”
We live in a disposable society, where a person’s value is proportional to what they can do for you in the moment.
If you find a true friend, treasure them. They are as rare as precious gems and worth more than fame or fortune can buy.
