Legacy exists in the lives we touch. Our influence can ripple across generations long after our names may be forgotten.

We travel through life’s journey with two families: Those we get via the flip of the biological coin and The Family We Choose.

At its essence, freedom symbolizes liberation, autonomy, and the ability to make choices without undue restraint. One lesson we seem to need to re-learn over and over is this: Freedom isn’t free.

Never underestimate the proclivity of a person to avoid responsibility. It’s easier to blame and much harder to engage.
